fish in beer batter and chipsOur main courses are not just fish & chips. In fact only one dish is 'fish and chips'. That's the full 8oz cod fillet coated in a beer batter. If you've not tried a beer batter before then you are in for a treat. Haddock, plaice and skate are regular choices but don't forget to consider the freshly made fish-cakes and the creamy fish pie topped with cheddar mash.

Not too keen on fish? The rump steak for hungry diners and our steak & kidney suet pudding hits the spot on cold days.
